Q: Tokay gecko pairing and mating

sir the my female is very huge it is double the size of my male, i thought that my female will just injure my male one:biggrin:

If the female is double the size of the male, there is a chance that she could injure or kill the male. It does happen. I would wait until the male is closer to the same size as the female.

i have now acquired a new male that is a little bigger than my female, lol they are the largest couple i ever got.....

Ahm i have another question sir, i have a 2yr old male, but ever since i got him(about February last year) i haven't herd him emitting any sound, even when i hold him he doesn't even bark, but i surely know that he is a male. is it possible that my tokay(named: Jhunjunix) is mute? could his condition possibly affect his breeding capacity(since tokays use their sounds to court their female?

They dont need to bark to breed, Ive never heard mine bark....yet they breed.....just because he doesnt bark, doesnt mean he is mute.....

He may not bark or hiss at you as he may be used to being handled
I dont know details of your setup, so cant comment much more.....

but i think that he is not used to handling because he is wild caught sir....
thank you sir, now i know that i can breed my that male of mine, its my firstimen to have a male like him sir:biggrin:, even doe he is wild caught he is less aggressive than other males of mine:biggrin:
