 I've been trying forever to get some pics up here ever since i got a 20 gallon long tank for gizmo instead of the lousy cramped 10 gallon. the tank looks kinda messy but the crazy little leo decides that it's fun to see how much calcium powder he can cram in his toes and then how far he can spread it across the tank:lol:

the big boulder thing is a humid hide. it's designed for snakes and egg laying so i put some warm water soaked paper towels in there and tada! he loves it.

Yea I think he likes it caus it's nice and dark and humid. his eye problems he had were caused because of shedding problems so now i have a reliable humid hide. i eventually want to add some live plants but i'll wait for now. next year, i want it to look really natural, and mabey have tile in the hot side and hardended clay stuff on the cool side with live plants. tell me what you guys think!

Nice job

You don't need live plants. They are more difficult to maintain and they increase humidity levels. And what are those two roundish white things in the middle of your first and fourth photo?

Other than that, everything looks great. Nice job.

oh, those well one is a bottle cap filled with calcium and the other is spilled calcium. ( he has decided to make up a little game for himself called " step in my calcium powder and try to smear it around the cage to annoy my owner"):biggrin:

Tipping over calcium dishes

Bahamut is the same way :coverlaugh: Whenever there is a calcium dish in his tank, he has to walk all over it and tip it over. I had thought about getting him one of those ceramic or plaster dshes with the wider bottom but they are more expensive and I am not sure if that will fix the problem.
