Help with starting new terrarium.

20 long is preferred.
Paper towels or slate tile for the floor.

Calcium dish
Food dish and water dish.
Three hides- Humid hide (container with a hole cut in the side with damp paper towels, damp moss, or damp bed a beast inside to help shed placed on the warm side), warm hide, and a cool hide.
Three supplements- Multivitamins, Calcium w/D3, Calcium w/o D3. Calcium w/o D3 should be placed in the calcium dish inside the tank 24/7. The brand I prefer and recommend is Rep-Cal. Whichever brand you go with just make sure all three supplements are the same brand and follow their directions as each brand is different.
Digital thermometers or a temp gun (prefer temp gun, more accurate)
Food
Temps should be 90-95F on one side and room temp(70s) on the other. Geckos should be fed every day when they're young and will slow down as they get older to eating every other day to every three days.

I use carpet on the floor of my cage. Easier to clean up

Reptile Carpet harbors bacteria, geckos get their nails and teeth stuck in it. Geckos have actually lost their nails due to this stuff. When they strike to get their food and miss they can get their teeth caught on the fibers.

hmm Alle, I use tongs to feed mine but im using reptile carpet at the advice of some experienced breeders who at one time or another had 200+ breeders mine seem to enjoy it, one of the females in particular likes to lay on her bell infront of the hide on the carpet
