I live in ohio and it is cold. I just got my geckos about 3 weeks ago and all was well then we had an ice storm and the power went out for 3 days. I managed with lots of heat packs taped to the side which they used. Also i kept filling hot water in bottles and putting them around the tank. Most people i knew had no power so moving them was not an option. Anyways the tank got down to 62 at its lowest but i managed to keep the ambient temp around 65. I tried to find a generator and was on a waiting list and today i finally got one then an hour later the power came back on and they are basking their harts out. I also was dealing with my 2 african cichlid tanks 125gal and 90 gallon. So far all seems well. Talk about being stressed out. I'll keep ya all updated. At least i have the generator for my next outage.
