where to put the thermometer

k im kinda confused where to put the little probe for my thermometer. i have an UTH on the side of my exo-terra and a then the leaves in the corner. so should i put the probe in the leaves or on the glass. he usually chills on the glass against the UTH.

anyone? can you guys at least answer this? where do you put your thermometer?

Try moving it around every hour to measure the temps for each different area. Then once you've found out what the gradient is, you can leave it somewhere that works best.

If you have a light or heat source, you could put it by that to make sure it doesn't get too hot.
