safe plants for L. williamsi?

Hi all,

I am doing a vivarium rebuild for my williamsi, and had a quick plant question:

In addition to some bromeliads and a bit of pothos, I like the look of some anthuriums and Alocacia. My williamsi seems to enjoy basking on broad leaves, and those 2 are attractive looking for the viv.

Are anthuriums (anthuria?) and alocacia harmful in any way to a williamsi? I don't want to add anything that would endanger the health of my animals (!)

Thank you,

N

They are both safe plants, but grow far too large for vivariums. If you started out with a very small young plant it may work for up to a year or a little over that.

What about some Sansevieria?

Thank you! I might go for small plants with periodic trimmings. The bigger leaves shade the bottom level where I have some patches of thuidium, and my williamsi seem to prefer basking on broad leaves, even over basking on natural vine and mopani wood, I don't know why?

I did already purchase some sansevieria :) I love sansevieria :) I also ordered a handful of assorted tillandsias, hoping a couple will actually flower for me :)

thank you!
