First Hatchling Ebenaui

Here's a picture of a tailless phant that I have for comparison's sake. His "stub" is maybe not quite as long, but it's similar I think. For me, at least one of those pair has gotta be a phant just to explain the hatchling's tail, putting aside what their patterns, size are etc.

Agreed. Pretty much just general appearance.
First off, Ebenaui tails represent a "spear", hence the common name "Spear Point Leaf Tails." These are meerly stubs, indicating that they are Phantasticus that have lost their tails. Also, Ebenaui are generally more robust. If you take a look at the picture of the other Ebenaui female that was posted, you can clearly see a difference in overall body thickness.
