would there be any reason my gecko may be more pale after a shed? it seems that she got greedy with her food and over did it, now she refuses to eat anything that isnt tiney, and mealies she wont touch( she overate a bunch, had a huge impaction poop of crickets, and i think she associates that with it)
this has only been going on the last week. she had more trouble shedding as well. i had to get her different crickets, from petco ( stupid me) and they were very large, but i thought id let her try them- she loved them. i figure ill need to wait it out untill her digestive system recovers ( i understand the throws of intestinal woes- sorry lol)
ive checked her poop, aside from the impacted cricket poop being overly large and under digested, there has been no parisides, blood or strange odor or color. tonight she passed a well digested normal stool that was covered in clear mucous.
she still wants to be held and touched, but she gets panicky suddenly the last few days and wants to run off. ill try to put her in her cage, but she doesnt want to go. i know shes comfortable in there, though she has out grown it ( im almost done her 20 gal long- just one more week!)-infact, i had to make her an emergency hot-hut becous shed gotten too big all of a sudden for her old one  and she realy realy likes the change  its a good practice run for the setup i have planed too. ive made sure that she can see the new cage im working on at all times, and since all the materials i am useing are non-toxic, she is in no danger- infact, she loves to watch me work on it :blushing:
ok, i got off topic. anyway, any feed back is great if i you feel its nessisary- im well awair im a blond with her brain on backwards, so i will ask stupid questions often, but please indulge me if you can, if at least at your own entertainment :poke:
