Mealworm breeder question

I started breeding mealworms few months back... anyway i was wondering will the bigger mealworms eat the baby mealworms? I recently bought a new batch of mealworms and have started transferring the smaller mealworms together.

Hello Norea!
No, the mealworms will not eat the smaller mealworms, as long as they have enough food and a water source! a good idea is to put a moist or damp paper towel in the box and they will drink of it, he smaller mealworms usually remain in the bottom while the bigger ones go to the top....

thnx saskia... because i knw that beetles do eat their eggs. so i was wondering about mealworms... i rarely give them a water source like carrots.
