Shedding question

I just purchased a female juvie crested and once I got her home it appears as though she has some areas that didn't completely shed. It doesn't looke like there's any kind of constriction...since I just got her Tuesday should I try the sauna or skip it since it's more like flaky skin? I'd post a pic but she's an extremely light lavender/cream so there is no way it's going to show up.

I know I've read something somewhere about the saunas...how are they done?

I had the same problem with my gecko when I got him. There was a bit of shed left on his head and at the tip of one toe. I did the sauna thing just in case, but as he was new that was the only time I held him those first couple of weeks.

For the sauna I took a plastic container like you could store or get food in. Put in a couple of paper towels and dampened them with just slightly warm water (it really was only to the point of not being cold to the touch). I put him in there for a few minutes with the lid on after giving the areas with the stuck shed a spray as well. Then I took a Q-Tip and gently brushed it over the stuck shed a few times. It took like 3 sauna trips before I got it all off.

Thanks! I'll give that a try! It appears that the longer I have her, the more areas need to be shed so I'll have to do something.
