Hello! well they don't like it at first have an open palm do it everyday for about a week or to for about an hour.... what works amazing is when you put baby food and they lick it off your finger it calms them and lets them know that they have nothing to be afraid of.... or hold your palm out in front of them and hold a cricket in your other hand... (pinching the cricket of course) and usually they will jump on your hand if they are really hungry but yeah eventually they will get sorta tame because no gecko really likes to get held except some and oh yeah prepare to get pooped on a lot lol (patience)
I might have to start doing this. My Phelsuma pasteuri will take crickets from my fingers and I know they are crazy for baby food. Ugh I'd just be scared of them rocketing off out of the enclosure as soon as they got scared. Thanks for the ideas!
yeah they are extremely fast but not re-catchable this has also worked amazingly for me if your Pasteuri doesn't bite.. do the peace sign ( you know peace man- the two fingers in the air sign) put the two fingers on both side os their head (not touching) and dab one of their back legs forward and they will move forward on to your fingers and pull him/her out of the enclosure it should work unless he/she is very timid or bites consistently but yeah good luck!!
lol yeah he is huge he is extremely strong.. the other he jumped off my hand to land on my other hand but he jumped to far and I said King NO!!!!!!!!! but amazingly and I have never seen this before he caught on to one of my fingers with his tail and hung for about a secong and and pulled himself up by turning and climbing up my hand I was like
