Leopard gecko tank: An acceptable fix?

Hey guys, while inspecting my tank today I noticed that the UTH did not adhere correctly. I re stuck it on and it fell off again. I took Sobe out, and all his stuff. I cleaned the bottom with windex and dried it real well, I stuck it on again and I could still tell it wasn't gonna stay right, so I duck taped all around it. This will work fine right?

Foil Tape is what I use to attach my UTH's.

On another note, please don't use Windex. I used vinegar and hot water, then rinse it out 3-4 times with hot water.

Next time go with zoo med brand, zilla have known to be crappy like that. And I'm not zoo med fanboy, I just have seen too many people say their zilla unstuck like you described, and some said theirs failed after a few months.

For now foil tape would work great, as suggested above.

Regular "duct tape" won't work. THe heat will make the adhesive gooey and you're going to end up with a big mess. You want to use real duct tape that's made out of foil and made for heating purposes. It can be found at any hardware store, home depot, etc for cheap.
