My Crested Gecko's tail!

Today I woke up because my mom was screaming my name. I didn't really hear her but I heard her say something about my gecko. I came down to see my 3(1/2) mo. first reptile sitting on her computer with his tail wiggling around. What freaked her out was the tail. Apparently the gecko escaped my kritter keeper, which is weird because everything was still locked. Will this event cause him to get stressed and go off feed again?
Thanks );

Yeah I figured that much as they don't need it as much as Leopard geckos or Fat Tails

from the reading i've done almost all adults cresteds in the wild usually don't have them. some people believe this is there natural state as adults and actually helps them when moving around.

By "need" you might be referring to fat storage that some reptiles use their tails for. Rhacs don't seem to use their tails for fat storage, and since crested geckos are the only ones who regularly don't regrow their tails, it seems to be a decent speculation that they don't "need" them, especially as adults. This is concurrent with the above statement, as most adults in the wild do not have them. I have heard that no wild adults have their tales.
