Why do you think your leopard gecko is stressed?
What signs of stress is it showing?

Yes, it is possible for a young gecko (or any age really) to die from stress.

The best things you can do to help it settle in and de-stress is to make sure the temperature on the warm side of the tank is 92-98 degrees F. Make sure there are no bright lights shining into or around the enclosure. Make sure the gecko has a constant source of fresh water, pure calcium powder, and "easy" food (such as mealworms in an escape proof dish). Then just dont handle the gecko for a few weeks except when cleaning out the enclosure about once a week.

My sister is opening terrarium and touching them every moment. They looks scared. And also, I sometimes do changes in the terrarium.

Well tell your sister to leave them alone. If they are your personal pets then you need to take responsibility and make sure she does not invade their space so often. However if you are both younger, then you should tell your parents that she is stressing them out and ask them to set rules down so that she cannot touch them more then once or so.

Once they are full grown (if they are not already) they will become more docile and will be more acceptable of handling. You can train them to come and climb onto your hands in you work very slowly and patiently with them for a few months. Dont rush them. And even once they are tamed they should not be handled multiple times in a day.

As for making changes in the enclosure - that is ok to do every once in awhile. Do not make changes often. You can add something, move this or that around, and such every once in awhile, but you should not change the terrarium multiple times in a month.

Good luck

15 years old? That is a pretty old leopard gecko. Any leopard gecko that is 10 years old or older should be considered "up there" and treated with special care.
Most leopard geckos live to be somewhere between 14-18 years. Occasionally they will get up to about 25 years.

If your leopard gecko(s) are 15 years old they should be extremely docile/calm. Anything older then 1 year old shouldnt be too easily stressed of skiddish. You should be able to handle them or tame them (if they never have been handled before). But never force them to be handled and always be calm, gentle, and steady.

But to answer your question, A leopard gecko can die due to stress at any age. Whether it a a baby (1-5 months old), a juvenile (5-10 months old), or a full grown adult (1 year old and up) - at any age they can die from stress if the conditions are bad.

Technically, Yes. A leopard gecko can die from a BIG stress... but your sister touching them should not be a big stress!

If it/they are less then 6 months old, then they might still be very nervous around people..but unless they are hurt or handle extremely roughly then it should be OK to handle and slowly begin taming them. You dont HAVE to, but seeing as how your sister wants to touch them, its probably a good idea to get them more comfortable with that.
And if you Leo(s) is older then a year old than it should be very docile and should not become easily stressed by someone touching it/them.

Is there some OTHER reason you are worried it might die from stress?
Because just touching them should not cause death. To be sure of that you just need to tame them..

After almost 2 months I forgot that I wanted to ask one more question about gecko stress. First 3 times I put my gecko out of terrarium he pooped in hand. If is gecko pooping in hand is he very stressed?

I mean, if I am not patient in taming gecko and put him off the terrarium one day after I bough him, is it VERY big stress for him?

Not necessairly, yes they can become sick from stress and then die. Make sure his tank is warm, and moist. Make sure your feeding him on a schedule. Dont put alot of crickets in his cage because the crickets can stress him out too. Also i agree with the other post, tll your sister not to handle them that often. I usually handle my geckos 1-2 times a week. you can handle them daily but you have to make sure to wash your hands because its not good for their skin to be handled ALL the time. Also, put a towel (shirt, etc) over the cage, it makes them feel more safe and secure and will calm them down. Hope this helps.

Yes. Only put in what he'll eat. Remove anything that he doesn't.

You keep asking how long do stressed geckos live..and can he die from stress..if you really want to help him and take care of him the proper way..then stop asking how long do stress geckos live and go make him comfortable and happy and healthy. Geckos usually are not stressed unless you make them stressed. Make sure he has clean water everyday, make sure his tank is clean all the time ...and feed him on a regular schedule dont just dump crickets in his cage. Also make sure his tank is the proper temperature and make sure it is moist so he can shed. Im sure if you care for him the right way, he wont be stressed out and then u dont have to worry about how long he will live...geckos should live up to 15-20 years.
