30 Gallons or larger. It's recommended to have at least 10 gallons per gecko. I'd personally go larger. Also remember that they need length and not height as they are terrestrial geckos.
I have one of my leopard geckos in a 30 gallon long tank with a custom built background. He loves all the space. I'm saving up so I can get another one for my 2 newest Leopard geckos. They are currently in the tank they came with.... A 15 gal. Hopefully I can build them a nice home like my boy's.
30 gal long or larger, 40 gal long ideal. This is assuming you are looking to setup a display tank, and not going into breeder mode. Breeders put 3 geckos in a 32qt bin usually.
I forgot the 2nd level idea, you can use smaller tanks if you build a second level like Aliza said. It won't matter whether it's first level or second level, floor space is floor space, they'll like it just as much.
