Introducing new leos - behaviour

Yesterday I introduced a new female leo to my male and female. They are aproximately the same size.

The "old" female didn't care about the new one at all. She didn't even look at her. The new one was a bit curious and sniffed her, she then walked away. That was it.

The male on the other hand, ran to her, licked her, then bit her at the back. Not hard. More like a small nibble or something. But it was a bit scary I have to say.

Then they went their separate ways, the male to his moist hide, and the new female to hers.

This morning I found all three geckos sleeping in the same cave (the male's favorite moist hide).

I guess the introduction went fine?
Was the behaviour of my male ok or at least normal?

When can I relax and count on that the introduction went well?

I would say that everything went fine for the introductions. I would keep a close eye on everyone for a while and monitor them for bites or scratches or wounds just in case.

Sounds like he was trying her out to see if she was in the mood for breeding. She must have let him know not at the moment. As Yoshi's mom says just keep an eye on them for any dominating or bullying behaviour.
