This is my First Leopard Gecko..Kitra

I say Her because it has never been sexed and the Store had no idea what sex or Morph it is.

To everyone private Messaging Me

No it is not Calci-Sand...Yes I have read the Article..
It is Natural Play Sand in the Tank..

Absolutely Not on the butcher Paper and Paper Towel Suggestions..
A Natural system is 100% better than Crappy Man Made Paper Products.

No where in the Wild do they live on Paper Towels or Butcher Paper..

Might as well just put in a shoe box under those conditions

Your "natural play sand" is in fact far from natural. Just an FYI

Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk

And what makes you say that?
I guess they lied on the Label...who knows a Lawyer..

Straight from Label
Natural Play Sand
A screened and washed sand for use in playgrounds, kitty litter, gardens, etc.
Uniform size and color.
Natural sand, not manufactured.

Granted I wanted some stones in there and but thats all that was available

I think what Nativeson means is, it's not necessarily natural to them. Playsand is not natural to Leopards. "The native habitat of the leopard gecko is the rocky, dry grassland and desert regions of south-Asian Afghanistan, Pakistan, north-west India, and parts of Iran." (Wikipedia) I'm sure I can find this same information in other articles as well. Wiki was just a quick and easy place for the information. So, it is only Partially sandy. It is mostly Rocks and Grassland (which the gras is probably growing out of sand). You're set up looks pretty close to naturalistic as you can get with out Cutting out a piece of Pakistan. I'm with you, I like using sand in my enclosures and make them as naturalistic as I can. I have some major plans for my next enclosures and yes, it'll include some sand or moldable sand.

While Play Sand Which has been Rinsed and screened to remove pebble and other Non-Uniform Particles may not be Natural to their Native..Sand Is..
Yes I would prefer Native Sand over Play Sand.

Like you said I do prefer as Naturalist as Possible..I used As Many Rocks as I can so far to Create as many Ledges and Crevices as Possible..

Plan on doing some more field Excursions to get more Sand Stone..

I went light on the Sand, just enough to cover the Glass Bottom. Except under the Cave so she could dig out her own comfort zone
