I've been keeping reptiles for about 15 years, had to move recently and got out of it for a while, but I want to get back in. Planning to get Uroplatus geckos.

Welcome to GU. There seems to be a fairly active Uroplatus group here, though they are not among my favorites. It's nice to hear from another Akkadian who is neither from Lousiana or Nova Scotia.

I wanted to be a Bible scholar when I started college. I didn't make it past the first few weeks of Akkadian (at which point everything started seeming irrelevant) but I have a number of other semitic languages including Hebrew (my second lang), Aramaic, Arabic as well as the most important Bible study language . . . German.

I'm self taught, as it happens, though I've five years of Arabic and studied Hebrew (again self taught). Also, if you wanna study the bible, you HAVE to learn Greek, of which I have six years! I'm a classical languages major, lol.

Welcome to GU! Yes, Neil Meister from Nova Scotia is a great Uroplatus breeder, probably one of the best in the world!
If you have previous experience with pygmy chamaeleons it will certainly help. Uros are not that difficult if you buy them captive-bred and follow the basic guidelines about low temps and high humidity.

Hahaha, unfortunately, I don't really speak Norse or French, though I can pick up phrases here and there from Latin and german.

بل من جهة اخرى من الممكن لي ان اتكلم بلعربية بسهلة معتدلة

I've sadly no experience with PYGMY chameleons, though I've experience with Jacksons, Panther, and Veiled. Not to mention too many other lizards to remember and other uroplatus.

How would one get ahold of Mister Meister if one wanted to purchase female geckos?
