New Tokay!

I recently received two CB Tokay juvies. At only around six inches long they are taking a HUGE place in my heart! It's only been a week and they have settled in somewhat...eating Roach nymphs and exploring every inch of their enclosures. They are not too terribly impressed with me right now but are starting to get used to the routine a bit. I'm looking foward to working with Tokay again. I've had and bred Tokay before and apparently forgot with time how much I enjoy them.

So I haven't taken any pics of them yet as I don't want to stress them out, but I thought I would post pics of the enclosures and the one pic I took putting one of them in upon receiving them. They are both Green x Normal (from Ethan) that are the beautiful light blue with red spots and it appears to be a 1.1

So that's all for now. Thanks for looking and I look foward to Tokay talk in the future.

Also...are these plants ok? They are all croton, I read they are fine..just checking! I wiped each leaf down before they went in, took away all the dirt they came in and planted them in an organic soil and peat moss blend. I also used cypress much to top it off.

They are both in 18 x 18 x 24 for now. Hot spots on top about 94 days and 90 nights...ok? I mist the cage 2 times a day and they seem to stay around 64/70% and spike to 99% after misting.

Thanks in advance.

Patrick, glad that you're so happy with them. :) The enclosures look great and I'm sure they're loving them! Everything sounds like it's on the right track and those plants should be just fine. Post some more pics of them cruising around once they get settled!

Nice enclosure, your tokay should love that very much. Congrats on the Tokay as well. They are great reptiles and a lot of fun to watch.
