Hello. Today I was spot cleaning a plant that kiha had went to the bathroom on and it went bad.. :'( I went to pick the plant up and the rock bass fell off and came crashing down right next to kiha. thank god it missed her for the most part. but it did hit her toe. I FEEL SOOOOOOOOO BAD:cry::cry::cry:. It bled but she is acting fine. it only got the very tip of one toe but it did do damage. What can I put on it to avoid infection? Please Help I'm so worried about her. I will never clean with her in the tank again.. :(

Do you have a picture?
I know one of mine was bitten by the other when the divider in their carrier fell over at the vets, And the vet said it was superficial and not to bother with it. This may not be your case but a picture will help. I wouldn't put anything on it before talking to the vet because your gecko may lick it and that could be bad.

That's the problem with unsecured rocks. I would get rid of them if I were you before they end up causing more harm. Just clean her toe with mild soap and water, keep the enclosure very clean and warm. We have no idea how severe it is without a picture, so keep an eye on it for signs of infection.

I don't keep unsecured rocks in her enclosure as I am afraid they will hurt her. I keep things tight together so they're not loose. What happened is a plant with a rock bass broke as I picked it up sending the rock bass down. was more of a faulty decoration problem.
I thought about the soap and water. but could that dry out her skin??
Also I gotta say thanks Cricket4u!! your always here to help. I think you should be an admin.
aslo ill give her a day or two to calm down from the whole experience. Then Ill take pics. As she is in her exoterra tunnel and facing the wrong way for a pic.

Thanks, but with my honesty and lack of forum experience I think I will be a deterrent. Ethan is great and knowledgeable. Soap and water is fine. Only a one time deal. It should not be a problem in a healthy gecko. It's no different than when we get cuts and just ignore them. Assuming it's superficial of course.
