Just spotted this tonight after my roommate said "dude, look...something is wiggling around in there!"
I caught them right toward the end.
(sorry, something got in the way of the upper right)
Right as he finished (she was getting impatient).
And judging by the lack of comments on my hemipene thread, I guess a good look at a hemipene is something people don't want to talk about.
This is about the same time of year the geckos started dropping eggs last year. The female above laid a few clutches earlier this year, then suddenly stopped (unless I just missed a clutch)...hopefully she'll be back at it soon.
As a side-note, I started collecting snails to feed to these geckos. The effect on the females was almost immediate...chalk sacs started pumping up very quickly! Just in time for egg season!
