Grandis Hatchling with Severe Defects

So I got really excited last night when I saw that 2 of my eggies had hatched. It wasn't until I put them into their "nursery" container that I noticed there was something very wrong with one of them.

It doesn't have any eyes. No eyes, whatsoever. It also has a severe underbite. I misted right onto it and it licked up the water, and I noticed then that the tip of its toungue is also black.

It hatched with a clutch mate, the 2 eggs were glued together and it seems as though they actually both came out through the same crack. The other one looks perfect, and already ate some newborn dubias.

How could something like this happen? What do I do?? I've never heard of anything like this before.

I have another baby who's now a month old and doing wonderfully, but its clutchmate never hatched. Or at least it hasn't yet. And my female just layed 2 infertile eggs about 5 days ago. This is her first breeding season. Its also my first time doing anything like this.

Is this something I could have caused, or is it because its her first time, or is it just bad luck? What should I do for the poor little thing?? :(

I think that you were unlucky and its a genetic defect.
It sounds harsh but I dont think that it will live for long so I would put it to sleep.
