Hello,
The black wounds are from a male holding her head while mating. These are typical for adult female Tokay. These will continue to heal and almost disappear completely over time.
While we're on the subject, black crescent wounds on the haunches or lower back of a female are typically from another dominant female claiming territory. Bites like this on a males tale, assuming it has not fallen off, are from a dominant male doing the same.
Tokay skin is an unbelievable healer and most scars go away completely after about 90 days. Even really big ones.
Also, your new girl may be gravid so assuming she has good vertical hides and vertical laying areas on slate, cork bark or in PVC tube, you might be finding a couple of eggs soon.
Good luck and enjoy!
