Eublepharis angramainyu

Eublepharis angramainyu born in 2012 in our terrarium (Research terrarium Zoological Museum of Moscow State University, Moscow). 6 animals are already born, and more than 10 are waiting in the incubator. Our terrarium bred them since 2007.

It's not a leopard geckos (eublepharis macularius) - it is another species from this genus it is Iraqi Eyelid Gecko, Eublepharis angramainyu

I know that it's not macularius. But here in the US we tend to refer to all Eublepharis as Leopard Geckos as a generic term. Common names don't mean anything.

It's great that we have the Latin names, just to understand each other :)
I hope that sometimes angramainyu will be as popular as macularius.
