I had made a detailed post earlier re, my girl. Sorry it s just that i have been waiting for someone to tell me if her belly looks normal or not.

How can tell she is ovulating? I have seen it in front of me and I would see a white circle with a pink rim but I don't see anything in the picture. Is there other signs?

Yup, in this gecko's case, she's further along, so you actually see 2. They're towards the middle of the stomach, on both sides. They usually drop lower into the lower left & right once they start developing into eggs.

What you've seen before is probably one egg follicle towards the middle of the stomach. When they have more than 1 and further along, they look like the picture above.

Thanks mardy, what is the next thing that will happen, since she hasnt been with a male? Will she re absorb? or lay unfertile egs? How long before these things happen?

She'll likely reabsorb them, but she could also lay infertile eggs. You will want to make sure she has a suitable laybox, any plastic container will do. Fill it with moist coco fiber and that'll serve as her laybox & moist hide. She could become eggbound if there's no laybox.

My girl is gravid as well. I've given her nice, damp moss in her humidity hut, but she seems to prefer laying in the corner on the cool end of her enclosure. She had two butterworms that she regurgitated and just looks miserable. I wish I could do something to help her. Any ideas?
