Interesting male Eurydactylodes vieillardi behavior

My male E. vieillardi hangs out on the cage floor next to the lay box when the female is about to lay. He's done this for all four clutches so far, and I never noticed this behavior when I bred E. agricolae in the past. Have any of you guys witnessed this behavior? Pretty cool.

That's pretty interesting, would be interesting to find out if all the Eurydactylode males do this, just the vielliardi or just your boy. My agricolae female is to young right now, but can't wait to see if my male does this once they are breeding.

We have seen this with ours to (and also with agricolae). We also noticed they will defend/guard their eggs together.
