I've been looking for these guys for the longest time. It's funny but normals seem to be harder to find than amels. Let me know if your parting with any! ;)

Thanks Elizabeth. I'm new to this species, and got a surprise when I got my first pair in that the female laid one egg while in transit. I got the temp right, so it should hatch near late September if I go by the time frame you witnessed.

You're welcome, Mike. (Maybe it was "buy 1.1, get 1 free"!) Have you "normals"? I love their orangish hatchling markings! Wish those would not fade by 3-4 months.

They're a normal pair from Germany that I got imported in June. Somewhere along the two day trip, she laid the egg. He said she may be gravid, but the egg was a shock. I wonder if I should have paid importation fees on the egg too? lol

Depends upon whether or not the egg is viable .

Nice to have some new Oedura castelnaui blood in the USA.

I have 4 adult pairs plus a few other adults.
