Crested Gecko Not Able to Climb Glass

My crested gecko, who is still very young, always wants to climb uo glass. I watch him, but his feet slide instead of stick to it! I have know idea why! The first few weeks he was pretty jumpy and out going and then this started happening! Is it because of the moisture. By the way its Smaug not Spaug... I spelled it wrong!:king::ninja:

he may be due to shed? the pads on their feet don't "stick" as well when they're going into a shed cycle.

also, check that his feet are clean. often a young gecko will walk through their CGD and gum up the lamellae.

are they dirty with food? if so, you'll be able to see this. clean very gently with a wet q-tip. if it's stuck on, give him a stint in a humid hide or similar to loosen the material.

if his feet aren't dirty with food, don't go at him with a q-tip; he won't like it much.

If this doesn't work check moisture levels in vivid. If it's over 80 this could be the problem... I had same problem and keeping moisture level at about 50 did the trick!
