Intro

hello, I joined recently so thought I should introduce myself. I live and work in Hong Kong, born in the Netherlands and then grew up in South africa where I collected snakes.

I love reptiles and have many different species wild around here making their home in the garden. I'm particularly fond of geckos, snakes and tortoises. I keep six tortoises and buy the odd Tokay female every couple of months.

Mostly I love reading about husbandry issues and tips. Becoming but not entirely convinced yet a fan of "morphs", thats to say If someone gave me a granite burmese I wouldn't exactly be able to say no.

Welcome to GU. You must have a really global perspective. I do enjoy morphs (primarily with leopard geckos) and like to see what I can "create".

Thanks Aliza, and yes for an Englishman I think I do ha ha my parents are Scottish and English who worked and lived in the Netherlands then moved......... its in the blood this global thing.

About morphs, this week I have been almost emtionaly moved by a snow white Gg morph for sale. The whole thing including head and tail is pure matt white no sign of pink and its eyes pure black blue like deep saphire. Its snuggly fat and cute like a beluga whale and shows no sign of stress at all. If they didnt want in the 20 000's HK for the thing it would be blending with the white walls of my building as I type. Outrageous price but yes im still wondering if its worth it.....[blushes uncontrolably]
