Hi ya, I am so new to Geckos and even doing this. My children bought me a Leopard Gecko with all the set up and everything for my birthday about a week and half ago. Everything is going really well except they never said how old she was.. Any ideas on her age? She eats meal worms and crickets and seems to have no problems She is between 5 and 6 inches long . So any ideas on how often and how much to feed her? I give her about 5 small crickets a night and about 10 meal worms. So confused. Oh yea the worms are gutloaded. Crickets are dusted. Thanks
A hearty welcome to Geckos Unlimited! What a great birthday gift!
Please post a picture of your new leo. If 5-6 inches is the total length, she is no doubt under 1 yo, so nightly feedings are still in order.
She should have a small bottlecap of pure calcium carbonate in her tank 24/7. We recommend Reptivite multivitamins with D3 for lightly dusting upon her prey just 2x weekly.
Please check your husbandry against the recommendations in the Leo Guidelines linked right below in my signature. Get back with us with any questions at all right on this very same thread.
