Yeah, there are light phases and dark phases to the 'normal' Tokay. The dark ones can be dark slate with just yellow, or just orange spots. This extreme is cool.
Then there are the light ones like this boy. They can be light blue to almost an eggshell white with orange and light blue spots. I find this trait very desirable as well. I've found this trait to visually carry into their offspring so it might be worth isolating it to see how it proves out.
Animals like this remind me of Ball Pythons. I regularly have the opportunity to review a thousand imported captive hatched snakes at a time. They all look 'normal' to me.
But upon close inspection, one can see minor differences in them and the keen eye of an expert can pick out dozens that could prove out to be a new genetic morph. And they do it all the time.
So I'd say your boy has potential. Good luck!:cheer:
