Gecko and lizard on island of Capri

I found these to guys on the island of Capri. They were basking in the afternoon sun about 2 feet from each other.

The gecko is a Moorish gecko (Tarentola mauretanica) for sure.
The lizard is a member of the Lacertidae family, I would think about a Podarcis sicula.

I'm not shore what kind of lizards these are but I would say it wasn't a smart thing removing them from the beach this will severely upset them and the stress my take a tole on there health especially if u don't know there actually breed and there specifications to live like food
