Lol..Ive had my Leo for Id say a month now. First week, I didnt really mess with him..Id put my hand in the tank so he'd get use to it and not feel harmed.
As we progressed to the second week, Id let him walk onto my hand, and explore a bit. Currently, I still allow him to walk onto my hand so he doesnt feel harmed..But If I try to hold him, he'll just jump.
Im not trying to wear my Leo..but Romeo doesnt even give me enough time to flip him over to try to sex him..
Help? Lol first time owner, trying to do things the right way.

The easiest way to sex your gecko is putting him/her in a transparent container and looking from underneath ;)
As for making him/her tame, each individual has its own reactions. Some really don't tolerate handling. Anyway, I know people want to interact with their geckos, but I always recommend to handle them only when it's necessary.

I have one Leo that I've had for almost a year, and he acts very much like you've described. He'll walk onto your hand and explore, but gets very flighty very quickly if you try and grab him or restrain him in any way. It's just the way he is. As a result, I only handle him a couple times a week, at most, for a short duration to clean out his enclosure or weigh him. I believe it would be much too stressful for him if I handled him with any frequency.
