hi there,
here is some advise i got of bud1988 rally good i worked as well
hope this helps
let us know if you have anymore problems

First : Make sure when you are going to start trainging, that you have a quiet room ( they startle easy at first becasue their ears are very sensitive).

Second: Lay your hand in the tank for 5-10 minitues a day in front of your Leo (never approach your Leo from behing and don't grab the tail) do this everyday sometimes twice a day at Night. The main thing this does is make your Leo realize that you are not a threat, but a friend.

Third : When your leo starts to approach you and check out your hand, dont make any sudden movements and just let him/her check you out. When your Leo realizes you mean no harm it will come to you more often. Once your leo is used to your hand around it, pet him/her on the top of the head (if him/her gets startled its ok just back off a few inches and it will come back to you.

Fourth : When your Leo is comfortable with you, and crawls into your hand lift him/her out of the cage and let it get used to crawling on your hand/fingers like a treadmill. It also helps if your hands are warm because they like to spawl out sometimes.
