You should check out the Coleonyx (banded gecko) section of the forum. I keep C. variegatus, as opposed to the C. elegans that you have. I'm not familiar with the specifics of C. elegans, though I do know that one of the Coleonyx species (either C. elegans or C. mitratus) needs more humidity. In general, Coleonyx are kept very similarly to leopard geckos, though on a smaller scale, so if you read a care sheet about leopard geckos, you can follow that advice. I would suggest not mixing Coleonyx species (though there shouldn't be a problem housing the subspecies together).
