my name is nathan ray , i am new to forums , and geckos basically . i am daddy to a white lined (skunk) gecko, a crocodile gecko , and a house gecko , named waldo . besides the geckos i also own a 6 yr old pug , a 5 year old bearded dragon , an almost full grown savannah monitor , and a 2 year old plecostomus . You should post pics of your reptiles! Especially the sav. After becoming friends with the person who pretty much wrote the book on their care, I've become pretty fond of them. :D

Well an adult healthy sav should easily hit 3-4 feet, and he definitely doesn't look that size.

~Maggot
hes at least 3 maybe 3.5 , the pics in the tub do make him look a lot smaller , not really sure why , plus its hard to get a full size shot on my phone without having to be 10 feet away , its getting late tnite , but ill try to put his measurements up tmorrow

Adults are normally about 10" or even a bit more so I would say yours is less than half-grown...4 to 6 months maybe.

Well, unfortunately, savs are very misunderstood reptiles. Most people provide very poor care - fish tanks, only a few inches of substrate, poor diets, low humidity, ~90 degree hot spots. All of this results in very poorly growing savs, so most of them 1) don't grow how they should and have stunted growth and 2) don't live very long. So, because of all of that, it's virtually impossible to guess ages on savs.
