Here is Mardi Gras, my male williamsi. He currently lives in a nano exo terra. I am working on an 18x18x24 viv for him and his eventual girlfriend. My wife got me the nano with him when she got him for me. The first viv pitcture is what his original viv looked like before the over-haul today.

The next 2 pictures are of what it looks like now that I tweaked it. I found he was hanging upside down on the screen a lot with the old set-up. I'm hoping he likes the horizontal branches a lot more. There are 2 orchid pups and a clump of air plant in there with him. The plants were really just an experiment to see if I could bring them back to life and have them thrive, they really seem to like the viv environment.
It was quite tricky switching over the viv without losing the lizard, but I couldn't capture him. He stayed in 1 corner while I quickly opened and closed the front door and the lid to pull things out and put other things in.

Nice little guy. My williamsi did get away after the tank renovation. I found him a few hours later on the window pane.

Thanks. I'm glad you were able to find him. My reptile room is quite the hazard... actually, my whole house is. When I transfer him over to the bigger space, I will just place the tiny terrarium in there and let him crawl out on his own. I don't think I'd find him easily if he ever got out. We live in an older house in FL. Larger geckos than him get in and out all the time through cracks around windows and doors, so he could easily disappear into the wilderness.

Fish nets are very useful for transferring these guys or catching them if they escape.

thank you Jon! I will try that when I have to move him to his bigger tank... tho my question becomes: how do you get the flies to stay in the cup? No matter what I do, they all pretty much immediately crawl out. :/
