Gecko Food Bites?!?

So I got 3 new geckos that were supposed to be 2 females and a male, but they turned out to be all males. The poor kid couldn't figure out why they weren't having babies! LOL!

With these came a whole ton of "supplies" and a weird thing called Bites:

Has anyone used these or heard of them? I have a tortoise too, so I could use it for that. I'm confused by the sticker too. Anyone?

any time I've picked up packaged or pelleted "food" like that, I've incorporated it into gut-load for my roaches but not fed directly to my geckos.

From what I've found, allegedly the store put stickers over boxes of these intended for iguanas as well. Overall, people agree they're no good/cresties won't eat them. Kind of reminds me the time I was at the store and the people had put a sticker over a huge bruise on an apple. I'd toss them, if I were you. But I guess you could use them for crickets.

I don't know much about tortoises but I thought they ate a ton of veggies, so you'd think these would be intended for veggie eating reptiles and not fruit eating geckos. I could be wrong though about tortoises. Putting stickers on the boxes seems really shady to me. I have only seen those Bites for iguanas & beardies in the stores I frequent.
And these might make good gut load or cricket food. Worth comparing ingredients.

The tortoise ate a bit in the day while we're waiting for our grass hay delivery. I don't think I'll feed these to anything. They seem fit for the trash. I have enough left over Repashy for gut load.
