Waterfall or Fogger?

I am noticing with my cresties that the humidity in the cage just doesnt stay high enough. This is even with misting, 2x a day, a good mist in the morning and a good one at night. I live in a very dry environment and my house is always dry even when i use a humidifier. So i was thinking about getting either a waterfall to put in the cage.. or a fogger.. or a mister... or just running a humidifier during the day, kinda up next to the cage, in the room they live in? Any thoughts? Anyone tried something they like better then others?

Thanks in advance...

PS.. I have fake plants (cant do potted) and green reptile carpet in the bottom of the cage. I had substrate but it took it out as it was so hard to maintain with the baby gecks.

I came across this thread and had wondered the same thing.. I'm in the process of setting up an enclosure that I will move my baby into when it gets older and bigger. Whats better with that kind a setup.. mister fogger or waterfall?

First, the carpet and fake plants won't hold the humidity. What size enclosure? Also I would avoid the waterfall due to accidental drownings may occur. If the told of your enclosure is screen, I have a piece of glass cut to cover the screen at night with about 2 inches of screen let uncovered for air flow. I haven't used a fogger but that would be my suggestion if the glass doesn't do the trick.

AO- I would suggest a planted viv. The live plants do wonders for the humidity, just toss a few snake plants in there and some pothos and you're good to go for the basics and some decent substrate.
