Hi, I have a 30 gallon long aquarium with a screen lid (well what's left of it after my cat attacked it lol) which I have divided in 2 halves...one side has a marbled gecko (6inch male), and tonight I purchased a Pictus gecko (2 inch unknown) and decided to split the tank and put him on the other side.
Has anyone ever done this? Splitting their tanks like that for 2 completely different species? I have a 18" fluorescent light 12/12 cycle for light, and a blue heat bulb that is currently in the middle to light and heat both sides at the same time (and will go get an under tank heater and place it in the middle to increase the temp a bit more as the marbled is not picky but the Pictus likes more heat) so basically the middle of the tank is hot and each end is cool
