I keep all of those species with the exception of Bavayia.
I will tell you that any aussie gecko is not comparable to geckos from NC. Strophurus share no common husbandry traits whatsoever with crested and gargoyle geckos. Oedura share a similar temperature need, but are much more difficult to breed.
Eurydactylodes and Bavayia come from the same islands as crested geckos and gargoyle geckos, which in turn means temperatures, care, and feeding are all nearly identical. IME, bavayia accept insets more readily. Both species are small, with the exception of one species of bavayia. E. Agricolae can be handled, but will readily attempt to get away.
I would stick with species from NC, unless you don't mind changing it up to care for the aussie species.
I would recommend E. agricola, B. Robousta, S. Williamsi, or O. Castelnaui as the best beginners for their respected species.
