Watermelon Skin

Hi

Does anyone know if I can use Watermelon skin as a moisture and nutrient source for my crickets and mealworms? Don't want Daff (my leo) getting sick if there's bad things in the skin, but if it's OK, I'm gonna feed it.

Thanks

It shouldn't be a problem (I do it). Just avoid a situation where the watermelon rinds get moldy because there's not enough feeders eating it.

Thanks Aliza - I switch out any veg not eaten daily anyway, so that should be fine. I can feed them the skins without worrying (not giving them the melon, that's just a waste, far too nice) ;-).
