Water?

Hi, just wondering what water do you guys use? I'm using bottled water at the moment I've heard some people use tap water and some use tap water that they leave in a bottle for a day, could you use boiled water that cooled down? Cause I don't like the fact I have to buy bottled water. But I'd like to hear how you guys do it

my tap water is bad (old pipes) and so I filter it. I don't like bottled water for what it does to the environment.

someday I want an RO filter and will use THAT water.

I use distilled water to help avoid unsightly water marks, seems to be working pretty well too!

Hmmm ok I see a mixed results nice to know what you guys use, I'm just using boiled water cooled obviously that I then leave over night. So yea nice to hear

I just couldnt stand the watermarks and how hard they were to remove so once I switched to Zoo Meds I had to do something to stop the marks.

Lol just wait and see, hopefully you dont get them but get the vinager and razor blades out

I got my tank used and it had water marks all over it, looked disgusting! So I used CLR and a razor blade to get them out! Worked like a charm!

Good! Think about using distilled water, Im not sure if your current method of boiling the water will help with the watermarks but if I had an RO machine I would love it!

Ah well then I'll have to remember that trick for when I get watermarks haha ;-)
