plants in terrarium

Anybody know of some websites or anywhere that gives specific information about which live plants are good for leo enclosures?

I know that living stones and stone roses are good, except, they need sun (not sure how that works with a vivarium) as are jade plants. There is a local succulent that grows here (broadleaf stonecrop-I can get the latin name) but am unwilling to place plants in with my little guy if I don't know if they are safe or not.

Also open to other decor ideas. Cork is good (and expensive )but now I have a proper sized tank, I want to provide some good stimulation. It would be awesome if I could somehow make tunnels. I would almost make something out of clay and fire it except without glaze it is pretty pourous. Anyway. Ideas? Photos of your set ups?

I have no experience with live plants but I will share what I THINK I know.
For the plants that need sun you will need UVB in the enclosure and I've heard it isn't a very good idea to use UVB in 20gallon tanks because of the size :?
That's pretty much the jist of my expertise in that area

One thing to be careful about with live plants is humidity. They'll for sure raise the humidity of the terrarium. We know the ideal humidity level for leopard geckos are between 20-40%. High sustained humidity levels could lead to respiratory infections. So just keep that in mind when picking out plants to use.

As for creating tunnels and burrows, your geckos should absolutely love that. Tunnels are natural to them, that's how they really live in the wild. I've seen some great DIY's that have created an extra layer of tunnels, so their tank is actually 2 levels, one the tunnel level, the other the normal level. Quite fun to see such creativity. Unfortunately I don't remember where I saw it so I can't link a picture.

Well, I guess humidity is why things like living stones are useful as are other succulents. The former, at least, doesn't
require much watering.

Yeah, stay away from that Excavator Clay, very poor reviews and in my opinion a waste of money.
