How to use Repashy Day Gecko diet as the main food

Because I am having trouble getting reliable delivery of micro crickets and fruit flies, I am using the Repashy as the main food for my baby gold dusts.
I have two pair of adults gold dusts and 12 babies from them.
My problem is that, since the Repashy dries out in a few hours if served as instructed, should I thin it our so that it is available for longer periods or change it more frequently or?????
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How are you mixing it and how often do you feed it? I find with my day geckos and other geckos that eat the Repashy that if, when I mist the cages, I make sure to let some of the water get on the Repashy, it will keep it moist. I feed my day geckos Repashy on Wed. and Sat. (and crickets on Mon, and Fri). I believe they do need some kind of insect as well as the Repashy. You could consider getting a large order of pinheads and 1/8" crickets and then let whatever you don't use grow out and feed bigger reptiles if you have them. You could also probably culture your own fruit flies. It's not hard.
