changing to tile substrate

Hi

After finding this site we realize several things we're doing wrong with our 2 yr. old leo. We want to change from coconut shavings to tile. Will we cause stress? Should we do it 1/2 at a time?

It's for the gecko's well-being, so the quicker you make the switch the better. Don't worry about the stress it'll cause because it's better the gecko be a lil stressed due to enclosure changes, rather than be impacted by loose substrate.

I got some really cool Tiles at home depot that actually look like sand. They are textured as well. I love them.

Very nice. Tiles are great because they do come in multiple colors and patterns, so you can usually find ones that fit your theme.
