Phelsuma Grandis egg picture. Please tell me if this is a dud?

I received them last October when they were 8-9 months old. They are almost 2 years old. This is like probably the 15th time she laid a dud the entire time I had them. They terrarium that I have them is ZooMed 18x18x24.
What!? Then I have to speak to the guy that I bought these guys. How sure are you?

I'm not 100% positive. Females can have that look(like the photo). If your male isn't in breeding condition he might be able to look like that as well. This isn't a grandis, but my big male grandis actually has a lot more yellow and more secretion too.

This is a male standingi. The pores look like they have stuff in/coming out of them where as a female you will either not see the pores at all(or just barely) or if you can then nothing should be coming out of them. Animals can be very hard to tell sometimes if they are males or females. I have gotten it wrong before as I have gotten animals from others where they were incorrect. It does happen unfortunately.
I'll try to get a photo of my male grandis tomorrow morning.

Thanks daggekko. I just got back from the Vet. He did confirm that they are 1.1. He explained to me about the pores as well. He said he's not really an expert in breeding but mentioned it could be the environment (the size of the terrarium or nutrients). I'm planning getting these guys a large terrarium custom made by a local.
Usually in males the pores are like "BAM here we are!" and have a good amount of yellow around them. Of course this depends on health, lights,etc but usually it is pretty easy to tell. At first glance at these they look female to me but that first pic the pores are a little more noticeable then the other.

The other reason I feel like that second photo could possibly be female is that the base of the tail looks as if there is one lump in the middle vs. having 2 lumps(hemipenes). You said also you've gotten something like 15 dud eggs from the female. How long of a period does this include(like over a couple months or a year?)?
Yes I've had these guys since October 24 2012. It's been awhile. I'm leaning towards the current terrarium size not suitable for my geckos which is why I believe they're not breeding. Any advice would help. On the side note: According to my vet that my geckos are very healthy and well taken care of. They're a little beat up because they fight from time to time but everything else looks good. So I'm dong something right lol

Can you get some more photos of their vents? A few different angles of each.
How many dud eggs have you gotten and do you know the time frame from when you got the first couple to the most recent?
I'll try when I get the chance.
I've noticed the first time last year in November. She laid 3 eggs and I saw the male eating them. From that time til now it was about 15 give or take.

I've never seen or heard of a male eating dud eggs either. Females sometimes in competition will eat each others eggs though and very very often females will eat their own dud eggs to regain the nutrients. Here is a photo of my female grandis that is roughly 4+ years old.
