question about disinfecting habitat

I lost a leopard due to unknown cause. Do I need to disinfect or clean before putting a new Leo in it. It has tile substrate.

I lost a leopard due to unknown cause. Do I need to disinfect or clean before putting a new Leo in it. It has tile substrate.

Disinfect first with an ammonia scrub;off-gas for at least 24 hours.

Then a second scrub with a 10% bleach solution; off-gas for at least another 24 hours.

Never mix ammonia and clorox/bleach.

Toss all porous cage furnishings.
