here is some info about my gecko, he is about 6 months old, i mist him often and quite heavily, usually until the humidity is between 70% and 80%, if i have his heat fixture turned off, the humidity stays up, and i only mist him a few times a day. He has a 40w heat bulb for day time, and a red 60w light bulb for night, it is usually between 70 and 80 degrees in his tank. For hiding he has a small cave and lots of leaves, which he usually stays in. I haven't really seen any changes in behavior, he seems to act the same as usual. I really don't know if he is pooping in the corner because his tank has a moss and coconut fiber substrate mixture. so it generally looks like poop. and to make it even harder to find, he is small so his poop is small. I measure temperature and humidity by thermometer.
