I am getting a new member to my gecko collection, a crested gecko, and he will be my first of this species, I am doing some research, and I bought a few things, (he´ll be with me in about 2 weeks), I bought theese:
Amazon.com: 16oz Repashy Crested Gecko Food / Diet Version 3.0: Pet Supplies

Amazon.com: Zoo Med Crested Gecko Food: 2 oz: Pet Supplies

I already bought the two of them, because they are not available in my country, and I am in the united states and am leaving tomorrow night.... are theese good diets?? I intend to provide live insects and fresh fruit, but I wanted him to have a complete diet by adding theese as well, any suggestions??

The crested is a baby, a couple months old, supossedly an harlequin, I haven´t seen him in person yet

I think this will be fine. There are a lot of options and I think especially since you'll vary the diet that your new guy will be OK with either or both.

I had no luck with the Zoo Med diet. The powder didn't mix well and a couple hours after I fed it the powder had separated from the water. It hardened like cement in the dishes too.

Thanks for the advice!!
I am looking for the enclosure for this little dude, I live in a very hot and humid country, so I am thinking if I get a glass or plastic tank, it might get too hot, so, I am looking at this:

Amazon.com: Zoo Med ReptiBreeze Open Air Screen Cage, Medium, 16 x 16 x 30-Inches: Pet Supplies

To be his permanent home, I can ceirtainly keep the humidty high for him, I believe he needs ventilation in order for the temps not to go too high because I have had temps up to 90F in my home, my main concern with my animals is to provide propper ventilation so they won´t overheat, I work from home and thankfully I can check them several times a day and mist as many times as possible, humidity is relatively high here anyways... would this size ans cage type will be good for one single crested?? I have read they need lower temps than leos or fat tails, so, he wouldn´t have any sort of heating device...
